When the Church is Silent

Abortion is often in danger of being seen as a side “issue” in the Church – something important but not critical. However, these teachings, each based on one of the 10 Commandments and a theological understanding of the sacredness of life, argues that silence concerning abortion is a betrayal of the Gospel and that the Church’s witness depends on how she responds to abortion.
